Light speed
Roofing begins today, and on Friday all our second floor tubs and showers arrived on site, some of which are already roughed in. Siding starts next week, and all rough exterior doors will be appearing in the next few days.
Cabinet and electrical walk throughs are tomorrow and Wednesday, and the fireplace will be installed this week as well.
Though we aren't able to move in yet, it seems a couple of neighborhood robins have, as there are nesting materials overhead and on the floor in the entry way and the media room. Finally saw the culprit when walking through with dad yesterday, and I told him not to get too comfortable.

The walls are closing in
Despite the dreary, grey skies and sprinkling that has set in, work continues and we are getting close to having a fully-sheathed structure. Lots of work on the garage today, and it should have a full sheath overhead by the end of the day if all goes apace.
Nothing has changed with the media room or den, so leaving those out of this photo set, but this should give a good sense of progress.

How far we've come
Finally got around to properly assembling the timelapse photos from the teardown in January. Enjoy.

Raise high the roof beam, carpenter
Works been on hold whilst the framer works another job but there is apparently some activity resuming today. Until I get up there next though, here is how it looked day before yesterday:
Designing innards
Walkthroughs have been pushed back for some indeterminate reason, so only the plumbing one is taking place next week. But we've connected with the cabinet company and will begin reviewing styles and designs week after next. If all remains at this pace, it sounds like all plumbing, electrical and cabinets could be in by the end of July.
